“Do not let your adorning be external - the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear - but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.”

women’s bible study

Are you yearning for honest relationships with God and other women? We use Kay Arthur’s inductive method of Bible Study to accurately interpret and thoughtfully apply God’s Word in our hearts and lives. The Friday morning group meets from 9:30a-11:30a at the church.

Moms in Prayer

A group of moms and grandmas who have a heart to pray for our kids, grandkids, and schools is getting started. Led by Cindy Kapki, who as a first time Mom 31 years ago was really concerned about the education of her kids. She heard about Moms In Prayer and has been praying with them ever since!!

“I feel that meeting together and Praying for our children is one of the best gifts we can give our children… there is Power in Prayer,” says Cindi. This World wide Ministry has been around for over 37 years and has over 150,000 Moms meeting together and praying for their kids. The local group is meeting on Mondays at 10:00a for one hour of focused prayer time. Find out more about the organization, Moms in Prayer. If you would like to join the local group, contact Cindy Kapki at (916) 365-6820.

Women’s connect

Now and then we get together after the Sunday service in the Fellowship Hall for fun, food, friendship, lots of laughter, and maybe a little creative adventure. It’s a great way to get to know the women of Calvary Harvest in a relaxed environment.
